Here we are again. Anyone interested in a meet up for Melbourne Open House on the 28th & 29th July?
Here we are again. Anyone interested in a meet up for Melbourne Open House on the 28th & 29th July?
Looks interesting - Not sure if I can make it but have marked in my Cal.
I mean to go to this every year and never make it! So maybe this year, I would be interested.
Call me Roo......
Nikon D300s, Nikon 35mm 1.8 DX, Nikkor 50mm 1.4 Af-S, Nikon 18-200mm VR, Nikon 70-200VRII 2.8, Sigma 105 Macro, Sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM, Tokina 12-24mm, Sb-600, D50, Nikon 1.7 T/C, Gitzo CF Monopod
I plan to be there on the Sunday. I went last year, but didn't really take too many photos. There's a bunch of interesting places though.
I would be interested but i can't plan that far ahead...but will definitely follow this thread
I went with some friends last year and there are some very interesting buildings to see.
There was a fair bit of distance between buildings sometimes so it pays to plan ahead,
and some were very popular and we had to wait in a queue for a fair while before we
could get in.
You couldn't take photos in the ANZ Gothic Bank on Collins street-(Bank Security Issues)
but that was the only one for no photos.
We saw some amazing buildings and places and discovered some historic things about some
places Melbourne that were a surprise

- Constructive Feedback Appreciated
My stuff: Nikon D90: 35mm f1.8, 55-200mm f4-5.6G
Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and a growing collection of other stuff.
This sounds quite interesting and will be quite willing in joining in a group for the day/weekend
Unfortunately I'm working that weekend so I'm out
I managed to visit for the first time and was waiting at the state library for a cellar tour not my thing wasting to much time waiting rather than taking photos. Never less I did do the tour and took some shots. After the tour I needed a coffee first and than want back to shoot the real deal of the library here is one from the cellar lol at least not many have taken a shot of this subject.
