Billy, usually the words 'Trust me' are an invitation to disaster, but you are right, that video is awesome.
Those above the cloud lightning discharges are incredible. I think I remember seeing a doco on lightning strikes, and what we see is a tiny spark compared to what happens on top of the cloud.
