Oh, good see you all on Monday
Oh, good see you all on Monday
Yo gals and guys, I would advise meeting a bit earlier than 5PM. Sun sets at 5:45 PM and the spot is full of nice subjects. Research and set up might take a bit more time and you want to be ready when the light comes to play. I'll be there at 4:30 PM
Treat my comment not as a critique but more like another point of view and please, share yours on my photos
I'm planning to be there by 4 at the latest.
Well outside my comfort zone. I don't know the area at all.
I'm bringing one of those focusable torches for Gemini so if any one else wants one then let me know and I'll bring it with me.
Hi Peter...how much were those torches again (mates rates?!).
I am hopefully coming with Jeff as the car is seriously unwell......

Yeah great...very useful torch for everything!
Just drive right up to the very end of the road, keep sticking to the left, big carpark at the end.
I will try to bring Adam, so he can watch the cars with the dog.
Bring sturdy shoes for rock climbing!
LETS HOPE THERE IS SOME CLOUD!!!!
Ok see you there at about 4.30.
I heard Point Peron has some lovely sun sets... unfortunately i won't be able to make it as i will be playing with the classics (volunteering)...
Plus i was in a 4 car pile up a week ago so my car is a write off... And the curve balls keep swooshing past my head by 1mm... LOL
Nikon D700 in all it's glory!
I am not knowing what to think of all these close shaves and curve balls missing my head by 1mm...LOL... but i am trying to have fun with my little people project at home.... kekeke...
Anyway, catch ya guys next time! Can't wait to see the sunset shots you guys come up with!
On another note: I hope that someone has captured today our amazing sky!
Just noticed this thread and I am not to far away. I will make every effort to be there and do a sunset (I will not look for birds, no birds for me).
Tom - I was supposed to have a sunrise shoot this morning but couldn't rosk it with the car. Soooo frustrating.
Shelley - will be great to meet you at Point Peron. Perhaps you can do a bird in the sunset???? LOVE your bird shots so I wouldn't mind
Thanks Shirl, I would like to do a sunset for a change - if I can unstick the 400 from the camera - it doesn't come off often.
I'll be there at around 4:30-ish.
I managed to miss the last one, but this time I have no other commitments holding me back =)
Michael
It was a great meet.
Met a few new people and got a few good shots.
Here are two from the event.
Tom. Waiting.
Afterwards headed home and in the company of Roosta stopped at South Perth where I was caught by this reflection.
A good turn out, nice to meet some new faces (not that there's anything wrong with the old faces )
Peter, I love the silhouette! Nice comp and great colours!
I have just posted mine in the Landscapes forum...
