I purchased this off eBay and it arrived today, It took 2 weeks and I almost gave up. I tested it and all was good.
$8.35 with postage what a bargain and it came with a LCD screen protector

You have to wonder how they do it. $8 as opposed to $80!
What's the quality like? Guess it doesn't matter you could buy 10 of them and still be infront, as long as it doesn't damage the camera.
I bought one for about the same price a few months back for my 500D and it hasn't missed a beat.

The quality seems to be ok, I was a bit worried about plugging it in for the first time, i was concerned about camera damage too.
You cant go wrong at that price hay Rod & Mic
Thank you for the info. Ordered one today and will see how it goes cheers Brian
I ordered one a couple of days ago. Hope they are worth the money.
I only paid $3.93 for mine plus I think $2.99 for postage, and today I got informed that it has already been posted.
cool price

I bought an el cheapo one very similar to this and it works a treat. I don't understand the difference in price, even buying aftermarket locally. I did the same with the lens hood for my 15-85. Cost $4.70 delivered and is as good as a genuine one.Surely the post would be more than that

How they manage to make any profit has got me stumped
I took it out last night for some sunset shots my only gripe is that while pressing the button halfway to auto focus is a bit dodgy it
is only a split second between AF and activating the shutter so i will now use camera to focus
Aha the last little detail tells the story. I have a Canon remote and it is flawless.
