Looks awesome Kym, the weather played nice for you too.

great experience Kym...lucky you and the others as well. Glad it was great weather for the shoot.
Fantastic photos Kym, what an experience to be above all that beauty. Nicely composed.

Can't wait to see some more Kym. Did you take your eye off the camera and have a look around while you were up there? I hope so.

Constructive Critique of my photos always appreciated
The open window was low down ... so just poked the camera out and held the shutter button down - more or less.
Yes I did look around - but mainly tried to get as many shots as possible. Anton was the same I think, he was front left (next to pilot), I was back right, Nel with P&S was Left back seat.
I've been looking at the raws in LR and about 50% are ok, and 10% are really good (out of 500)
It was very spur of the moment.
Nel and I had planned to do something due to our 30th anniversay in Jan.
We had thought about a hot air ballon ride or chopper ride; but had not settled on what.
The weather was spot on and the chopper was there so we decided to go and then Anton decided to join us - totally worthwhile!
Wow!! Hi Kym, I was at Cradle Mountain a few weeks back and have a shot of the boat house in My365 Challenge. This shot gives a totally different perspective. Great composition.
Kym.
Fantastic shots. Looks as if you all had a great time up there and got some awesome shots
Cheers Peter
