The Hasselblad HCD 4-5.6/35-90 at a mere $9,995.00 (on special) - but then I'd have to buy an H3 'cos it doesn't fit my H2.
So next down the list is the HC 3.5-4.5/50-110MM at a mere $6,935.00 - and that's its price on special! It will be a long time lusted after, I can tell you.

Constructive Critique of my images always appreciated
100L macro, MPE-65 and MT-24 twin flash... hoping to buy all three this year...gulp.
Although not on my radar anytime soon, an 85L/1.2 is seriously lust-worthy...
I'm not in the market for any more lenses, and I'm certainly happy with the seven I have; but there are some lenses that are firmly in the "this would be nice" category.
In order of focal length:
- Canon EF 200mm f/2L IS USM
- Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM
- Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM
The discontinued Canon EF 200mm f/1.8L USM is indeed lust-worthy, but hard to get, very expensive, and no longer serviced by Canon.
Do I need any of these lenses? No.
Do I want them? You bet.
Would love a Nikkor 400mm f/2.8, aahh the lust
Nikon 200-400mm f2.8
It's f/4 mark, still, nice lens regardlessOriginally Posted by MarkW

- Constructive Feedback Appreciated
My stuff: Nikon D90: 35mm f1.8, 55-200mm f4-5.6G
Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and a growing collection of other stuff.
- Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D
- Nikkor 135mm f/2D DC
- Carl Zeiss 100mm Makro-Planar
- Nikkor 14 - 24 f/2.8G ED
- Nikkor 28-70mm F/2.8D
i've gotten all my lens lusts over the years... 24-70, 35L, 50L, 85L and 70-200..
Ive only kept the 24-70, 70-200 and 85.
The only other lens i could lust for would be the 200 f2, but that'll never happen (unless of course i win the lotto)
These days, its more like post production lust... or studio lighting lust....
LOL! at the price it commands!.. it's over rated(but there's nothing else in Nikon land like it)
Mine arein order of preference I 'spose)
58/1.2
300mm/2
1200-1700mm/5.6-f/8
6mm/2.8(I may need a satellite dish template one day! )
16mm f/3.5 fisheye(reality check!)
200-400/4(I wouldn't use it much, but a better replacement for the 500mm mirror for sure )
2000mm f/11(because I got this far, and I have all the money in the world!.. so why not?)
PC-E 24mm f/3.5(plus 85mm f/2.8 version)
I suppose I could use an:
14-24mm/2.8, or
70-200VR(I now realise that I need VR ), or
85/1.4
... for 'everyday' type shooting purposes?

I'm holding off upgrading my 70-200mm to f/2.8IS until new model is available
other than that I'm in two minds between Canon and Zeiss 85mm f/1.2
Well, it will blow the socks off re iq, af speed and an extra stop is a lot when it either halves iso or doubles shutter speedOriginally Posted by MarkW
. Is lens lust contagious ? cause I think I caught it here.
