We don't make a photograph just with a camera, we bring to the act of photography all the books we have read, the movies we have seen, the music we have heard, the people we have loved. - Ansel Adams
Yep. But we didn't have sissy wet suits in my day.
I still do it today when I have the chance to find them not many going about now days

Many many moons ago used one at Windsor into the Hawkesbury River. It was the best fun.
Just never with a wetsuit.
Just the shorts you were treking around in.
Shorts, Hmmm? It feels just like yesterday and it was only last century.

Hahah, yes I definitely do remember! I nearly hung myself on a rope like that, got tangled in it! Oh, the thigns we did when we were younger heh!

Also cute and Fluffy!
Fantastic Captures..
I never did it that's for sure I was too short to reach the rope there was a similar looking place in Fairfield on the Yarra in Melbourne I remember it was near Kanes Bridge I wonder if that is still there 6 decades later. I waited patiently to grow taller then some young Guy jumped off the rope the wrong way and ended up in the Austin Hospital as a Paraplegic or Quadriplegic cant remember which, turned all of us youngsters off it even the boys.. No wetsuits around in those days either..
yep.... just in shorts and hoped your bus fare money home stayed in your pocket..... or it was a long walk
still give it a go now
Just have to make sure the branch the rope is tied to is stronger these days!
Anyone else have bad memories of the big knot at the end and the wicked backlash at launch
