    Cockatoo & Baby (Image heavy)

The Cockies have been making an absolute racket of late and its been an unusual noise.
Any way happened to catch a couple mid noise and had the camera handy ....
Mum feeding a Bub ... Who was relentless in following her and begging loudly
They were way up in a tree so these shots are way out on my 70-200 and then a huge crop !!!
So image quality not so good But thought they may be of some interest

Definitely very interesting and what a wonderful series.

I love the feeding action in #1 and #2 as well as the begging action, with that fierce-looking beak wide open, especially in #4 where junior is in mid-flight.

    Lovely shots, really enjoyed them.

    Cheers

    Thanks Dennis
They were quite amusing to watch ... The little Bub was very demanding ...The look on her face in the last shot says it all

They are certainly entertaining to watch but at the moment they are out of favour with me as I planted out some baby Iris seedlings only to find them all pulled up and scattered around the yard. They can be quite destructive. To say nothing of the noise!
Baby is certainly making his/her presence felt here in your shots!
    Cheers Lyn.

    Hey Lyn
Destructive should be part of their job description !!! They got every single lemon on my tree .. Not even one left ... Lucky they made me laugh

”Lucky they made me laugh “

And that’s the thing with them isn’t it? They are so comical you forgive them.
