It is clever, eh. It was done as a stunt to promote the new 2013 Carrie movie release. I first saw it several months back.

the movie as not as good as the first one though, even with the CGI of today.
I didn't see the new one, but in my mind I don't think anyone could play the role of Carrie better than Sissy Spacek. What she brought to the role is beyond anything that can be added in on a computer, and from what I've heard was lacking from the new one.
