Not sure if this is the right place to post.
I was watching one of Jared Polins videos on metal prints. This one:
Just wondering if any place in Australia does these?
Thanks

Michaels camera store in Melbourne does, but I am certain that many other more convenient places do too. I can print on this medium with my Epson R3880. Whether a print shop carries this as stock is another matter ...

Ink FX printing in Queensland and Print2Metal in Melbourne do, they're so gorgeous!

Maybe you have a Harvey Norman near you?
Thanks for the replies. I do have a Harvey Norman about 40 minutes away. They do them aswell?
Thanks for this post and thanks Gazza. I did not know that Harvey Norman did metal prints.
R1, there are many businesses catering to metal printing now but ----- it is a rather specialised process and there are plenty of reports out there on the net about who does a good job and who produces substandard efforts.
There are a few even claiming to use the proper technique but their product comes back and washes off the first time they are wiped which is common for home based printers with the wrong "ink".
From samples that I have had done, there are even reputable businesses that specialise in metal printing that cannot get colours "correct" and apparently that is another area of concern if you are looking for totally faithful images. Most of the time that is of little concern to the people ordering the prints as they are more after heavily saturated glossy images with the wow factor.
What size of print do you want to do, small -- up to 16x24 or 20x30 and larger?
Thanks for the reply Andrew. I will do research on a place before I buy. At the moment I'd only be interested in the smaller sizes. But I'm not ready to order right now, was just wondering if there was the option.
He told me bunch of reasons why I should buy metal prints from a certain company (with a code to make it cheaper, for a limited time), but didn't really touch on why metal prints look better than prints on various papers.
Possibly the most useless vid of why you want to make metal prints.
He gave a ton of reasons why you want to use Adoramapix, but barely any real info as to why you'd choose metal prints over any other type!
The one tidbit of information as to why you'd want a metal print over any other type, is barely even heard or explained, other than a brief comment about it ... the ability to use the silver substrate.
A totally useless video explaining the real virtues of a metal print compared to any other type .. it's just an ad to use Adoramapix
I just recently printed out a couple of my photos on aluminium with photobox and they came ready to hang. I am really happy with the result

You're right, AK. Four minutes of LUD but VAPID monologue.
I mean his "reasons" are ridiculous His next video was not much better.
Metal print idea does look interesting though, from the glimpses he gave you of the products.

Aussirose. I had a look at Photobox, this page:

At first I thought they meant it was a print mounted on aluminium
CC, Image editing OK.
