G'day all
Are there any Townsville based 5D-II people able to spend some time with a friend of mine?
She's going o'seas soon and needs some fine-tuning of her 5D + kit before she goes
If -y- could you please PM me
Regards, Phil

Of all the stuff in a busy photographers kitbag, the ability to see photographically is the most important

Sorry I'm all the way over here in Perth but if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them.
I would recommend reading the instruction booklet back to front, then read it again. Then go practice with it, then read it again.

Here in Melbourne - so can only be there in spirit as well.
But if she could buy it, I can recommend a concise book which greatly expands the manual:
Canon EOS 5D Mark II Digital Field Guide (Paperback) by Brian McLernon
I purchased this one: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Magic-Lantern...item35a872b068
Wonder how it compares to the Field Guide.

I note the 3 responses this last week & thank you for them
I haven't heard from the lady concerned (presume she's o'seas now) so I don't know whether she's found something close to home or whatever
Thanks, Phil
