Best budget ips monitor for photography needs?

Im considering lg Ips231p-bn

They tell me it's only 6 bit.


The other option..Lg ips226v


Any comments would be welcomed

^^ I'll second that. I have an LG 2340 at work and a Dell 24" ultrasharp at home, while the LG is OK, it is not a patch on the Dell.

I use a Dell U2410. Great monitor. Performance is exceptional

If you're in no hurry the monitors do come up for sale every few months. Price reductions are usually worth the wait.

Ordered the Lg ips236v-pn today , $185 delivered. That'll do me. Thanks to everyone for guidance
