It is good to be back. Just wondering about what equipment is needed to take the speedlite off the camera to change the lighting effect?

What you seek is remote triggers/transmitters. Have a look at the AP site advertisers (click the sponsors link between the advertiser banners at the top of the site). Phottix have a good range
