My name is Murray, started taking pics some years back with a Canon A1 and photographed the usual teenage things cars and girls and sometimes girls in cars! I did some of my own black and white developing and printing with some excitement and success but then the camera got shelved for many years. As with many others the DSLR has opened a wide door and I have found a new way to be creative again, so I have jumped in and have a 7D. I love to capture the human form in sport to tell a story of the pain and endeavour as well as finding small things that are hidden but for the lens. It seems by the many pictures on the many websites that the new cameras are allowing a great number of people to do extraordinary things with metal and glass, it's just inspiring. So I am here to learn and be critiqued and have some fun, thanks for a local forum!
