Hi :)

I'm a serious newbie, hoping to learn LOTS - trying to be a human sponge :D

I'm a face and body artist, and wanted to capture great images of my work. I bought myself a Canon 60D, an 18-55mm and a 50mm lens - I'm slowly but surely learning how to use my new toy, and loving every minute of it!

I look forward to chatting and sharing ;)

Try New To Photography (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:New_To_Photography_Book) section of the AP Library. Plenty there, you can go at your own pace, and it's free. Oh and posting photos and asking question helps the learning.

Thank you for the lovely welcome :) My new toy now has a name - ToBy (short for ToyBoy lol) Figured my hubbie has a mistress (his 4wd) so I can have my ToyBoy :D I'm enjoying reading loads of interesting threads, and hopefully learning how to push ToBy's buttons ;)

I will have a look through the pics I have taken so far, and see if there are any worth sharing ;)

I love that pic of Amy's work! Very nice! I unfortunately won't be able to make it to Daylesford - I already travel 3-4 times a year to paint, and have a BIG project kicking off in January ;)
