Hi there. My name is Darryl & am fairly new to digital photography. I have a Lumix DCM FZ28. I know it is a basic camera but I only to take photos not win awards. I normally leave it on auto but I want to increase my knowledge to take better photos. I breed German Shepherds & do a lot of off road driving so most of my photos of moving dogs & 4WD's. I have experimented with some settings but my old brain has trouble digesting info from books. Any help with improving my skills would be appreciated.

Welcome Daryl, the very best way to learn is to post some of our photos, and ask questions about why things happened, and the critique and feedback you get will be invaluable to your experimenting and skills

Welcome Darryl, you have come to the right place to learn. There are plenty of fantastic people on this site who are only too willing to help. Hope to see some of your GSD photos soon (other photos too of course but at least you understand my bias:D).

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Haven't used the camera for a few weeks but I am going camping (& 4WDing) this weekend so I should be able to take a few then.
