Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience, and or info they can point me to regarding hacking the functions in Canon cameras. Specifically, I am hoping to adjust the firmware in a 5dmkII.

What I want to do is have more control over the auto-ISO, so that you can set the minimum shutter speed before the ISO will be raised (e.g. in Av, I want to keep the shutter speed >100). Or set both the aperture and shutter speed, then have the ISO keep the exposure constant. It would also be good to exposure bracket more than 3 shots. I know I can get around these things by using manual mode, but sometimes auto ISO is faster/easier.

Thanks very much for your collective wisdom, and I'm sorry if this has been asked before and I couldn't find it with the search.

I don't have a 5DII so I didn't investigate a lot - but "Magic Lantern " (Google Magic Lantern Firmware Wiki) does add a lot of values to your 5DII if you are into cinematography.
