Hi all!
The name is Tom, I'm 24, I love Metal... and I love to travel. I've been to Europe 3 times in the last 2 years, and plan on hitting South America next. Some people might find it interesting that I've been to some of the more obscure places, including some rather random cities in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Macedonia and others. I have a passion for the weird and the different.
The past two years have taught me how fun photography can be; albeit only through the glass of a Canon G9. When I finally discovered dust was over the majority of the sensor, I realised it was time for an upgrade (I've since cleaned it out).
So 2 weeks ago I got my first DSLR, the Canon 7D. I've had a bit of fun with it so far, but nothing serious. I plan on doing a bit of reading in the coming weeks, and smashing out some serious practise-time.
I look forward to receiving and giving advice on here, as well as sharing photos with all of you.
