Hey Everyone

As i said above, im going to New York for 3 weeks and i dont want to take my laptop- it's too big, too heavy and too expensive and I don't want to spend time on it while im there anyway. I was hoping to buy a portable hard drive around 100GB storage that i could put my SD card in, copy the RAW files and then use the card again. I only have around $150 to spend too. I dont need a screen or anything like that- just a copy button.

Any help appreciated :)

You will be lucky to get one of those for around $150.00 unless you look at second hand on E-Bay etc.

Most of the portable storage devices are upwards of $250.00

If you are only traveling for 3 weeks why don't you just buy a couple more SD cards - very cheap storage.

Take a stroll down to this place when you get to NYC. I'm sure you'll find something there that will fit your needs and budget.

Y even bother? Get the best of all worlds, a WiFi netbook is now about $250 or even <. Otherwise, I agree with Brian500au.

I came back to this thread, thinking to post about a netbook, and see that Am beat me to it. :D
