Hello to everyone on ausphotography!!!!!

I am 22 years old and live on the Gold Coast. Just starting to get into photography and I must say that I am quite addicted.
I dont have my own camera yet so have borrowed my friends D3000. Looking at getting a D5100 in the near future, if anyone has any comments about this camera please let me know =)
I like all areas of photography but my favourite would have to be Long Exposure.
Look forward to learning alot more about photography from this forum!!!!!!!!!

I'd get a D7000 rather than the D5100 if you can afford it.

Welcome! Make sure you go into a camera shop and handle the different models. Even consider trying different brands. If the camera doesnt feel nice in your hands, you won't enjoy taking photos with it.
