Hi Folks

My Grand-daughter got hold of my Canon EOS 50D and now the 28-135mm IS Zoom Lens are malfunctioning. Something internally must has dislodged in them as they have no ability to focus either manually or on auto (just total blur) and the manual zoom is locked up. Is there anywhere in Sydney that you can recommend for an economical repair of the lens.

Thanks Jon

You don 't give the manufacturer of you lens, however I assume its Canon, take it to the manufacturer.

Its a Canon lens, and considering you can buy them for around $300 or less 2nd hand, the cost of repair in comparison to buying a 2nd hand one might not be worth it. Sounds like she might have damaged the lens somehow.
