DOF table for 100mm f2.8 macro lens

I have been hunting for some time without success for a DOF chart for my 100mm EF F2.8 macro lens. Is there something so obvious as to why I can't find one? Does a prime lens have a fixed DOF???

If someone can help I'd be most appreciative as I'm getting a bit tired of not being able to tell how much DOF I have at certain distances (depending on aperture of course).

Kiwi probably all of the above but yes particularly portraits and general use.

Put in the numbers... @10cm f/16 on a crop sensor the DoF is 0 :D (which is about what happens for macro)

For Portraits and General use, consider the Axiom that the DoF for any camera format, is constant for same Framing of the Subject when shot at the same Aperture.

Framing of the Subject is also mentioned in Cine terms as "The Shot".

This Axiom is particularly useful for Portraiture; but it can be applied for all Photography, especially if the Photographer can imagine a “standard person”, in, The Shot.

Knowing the DoF for THREE different Framings (i.e. Head Shot; Half Shot; Full Length Shoot) and for THREE different Apertures (e.g. F/2.8; F/5.6; F/11) and both for each of TWO Camera Orientations (i.e. Landscape and Portrait) requires only two tables each of nine numbers to be remembered for any Camera Format.

Knowing these two tables and sometimes a quick mental calculation for in-between apertures or framings, I have found, is much quicker than referring to DoF Tables for the majority of general shooting scenarios and practically all Portraiture shooting scenarios.
