 Phew !! Thanks Rick, Back again, Boy that was VERY Strong , Not often I disconnect the Power and Cable leads to the Computor, I dont trust the Lightening anymore after losing everything a few years ago from a close strike !! I think it was worse a little up north from us , 32mm of rain here tho, Luckily only little hail and strong winds , Well very strong :D, It is the storm time of year , So we will have more - Bill :th3:

Nice stuff there Mummy, now I know who you are on WZ ;). Suprisingly, this event in SEQ was far less than the anticipated from the forecast, couple of things got complex due to positioning of the trough, cloud cover etc. Never got to the cricket ball plus hail stuff that most people in SEQ were expecting.

Hahaha William, I really should put my chase mileage up for fun....did 18,000 miles in the states chasing this year, probably similar for Aus last season.
I nearly contemplated driving to SEQ to chase yesterday...but the environmental conditions allowed me to work out it was going to be a disappointment so saved myself the effort. Pay attention to severe thunderstorm potential no matter where it is in Australia, and have connections everywhere...it happens and I hear about it :P. And don't think that just because I am in Vic doesn't mean we don't get severe storms, I have my secrets :P. Managed first instance of golfball hail for the year a couple of weeks ago.
