I have a kid's shoot on the 23rd July but I would be interested in the Windsor Hot Rod and Custom Car Show. I'll let you know closer to the day.

I cannot make Saturday 23 as I already have a dawn and afternoon/evening commitments. Sunday I need to catch up on other stuff.

Windsor of 31 July is a possibility.

Sat 23rd - Motorex is pretty good this year, and something I never noticed before, they don't seem to mind togs using tripods ! I saw at least a dozen people walking around shooting cars this morning with tripods. Will have to try that next year. It's on again tomorrow as well.

Still planning on going to the Windsor show on the 31st (weather permitting). :)

*bump* Unless I wake up tomorrow morning to the sound of heavy rain on my roof I'll be heading to the show around 9.30 AM. Fingers crossed for some clouds to help with HDR work. :)

I'll be at Baulkham Hills tomorrow morning and I may have a 2-hrs down time.... if so, I'll get along.

Sorry I missed it this morning guys, but constantly trying to hack up a lung isn't conducive to good photography. :(

Not to mention your fellow photogs! Sorry you couldn't make it Glenn - there were some interesting cars but it was very crowded. I will post up some pics in the next few days but in the meantime I have to free up some room on my hard drive. The file size with the D7000 is so much larger than the D80 and I am very quickly running out of room on my computer.

Time for a 2TB external :P

BTW, have you regained your hearing yet?

I thought the 31st still a couple of weeks away. I just realized it's the 1st august today!!! Aaah!
I'm a bit crook myself too so was probably for the best

BTW, have you regained your hearing yet?

I had my fingers well and truly lodged within my ears so I blocked a good lot of the noise out but I did take them out when I was going to take a pic but couldn't tolerate the noise for very long so I put them straight back in again. Seriously though, you could really do some damage to your ears if you listened to that noise for too long - I'm surprised you didn't come away with burst ear drums Scotty!
