ICC help please

Can someone point me in the direction of understanding something about ICCs and how to use them when printing on a dye based ink printer.
I am totally confused.:D

I'm right behind you. That is, slightly less confused, but as far as pointing goes, Google search ICC profiles (http://www.google.com.au/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&source=hp&q=icc+profiles&meta=&btnG=Google+Search) for a good swag.
