I will be fortunate enough to be spending my New YEars Eve flying over Antarctica on an adventure flight.

With my focus on portraits, street and weddings I don't have the experience with land / seascapes that many others do.

Knowing that it will be daylight and with the ice reflecting the sun I am after recommendations on which filter/s would be best for this trip. I want to get as many great images as I can and would appreciate any advice, especially from our great adventurers who may have done this trip or something similar

Cheers

I think a polariser would be on the list, but watch you don't get those rainbow effects if it interacts with the perspex in the aircraft window.
Maybe a ND grad used upside down in case the ice is much brighter than the sky. HDR will be difficult in a moving aircraft so it would be as well to shoot raw to give you more post-processing flexibility when you get home. Its going to be awefully expensive to go back and shoot it again!

no filter required IMHO.
