Second hand lighting I'm thinking of buying

I hav Zero experience with lighting

2 x 600 w/s heads, 2 x stands, 2 x softboxes, 2 x umbrellas
with a pc sync and a wireless trigger kit

would around $500 be reasonable for this gear - well used but all working?

That would seem ok, but prices vary a lot based on whether it's cheap Chinese stuff or old or newer pro gear

You'd have to find out more

600 watts per second is quite powerful enough
