Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm thinking of getting a Tamron AF 17-50mm f/2.8 Di-II LD Aspherical Lens (A16). Would love the Canon 17-40mm but I just don't have that money. I am planning on heading into my local camera shop and checking it out and getting a price there, but I have found a couple and I'd like your opinion.

Electronic Bazaar - https://www.electronicbazaar.com.au/add-to-cart.php?categoryid=20&subcategoryid=170&pid=3053&pstatus=null

Quality Camera Sales - http://www.qualitycamera.com.au/tamron-1750mm-aspherical-p-4156.html

I know the first one is cheaper and I did do a search through a forum of them and one person had good dealings with them, but the price difference is so huge that I'm just not sure.

So what do you good people think??

Quality camera are Ausphotography site advertisers and reputable. I have never heard of the bizarre (hehe) mob.

I have tried Electronic Bizarre for something over 12mths ago, would not recommend them.

They took an order for something they said was in stock, I rang to check availabilty, 3wks later no delivery. I asked for a refund after repeated broken delivery promises and they couldnt give a delivery date, the refund took a further few weeks.

My personal experience, my opinion

Yes, I know Quality camera are a site advertiser as I went through their banner to find the price.
It might be a good idea to stay away from the other mob. The huge price difference is what worries me and that worry is probably for a good reason.

Thanks to you both. :)
