Hello,
I own both of the above and read that this lens doesn't work well with the 90D and it's better to replace it with the newer EF-S 10-18mm.
I'd rather not buy another lens if the 10-22mm isn't that bad. I've just started taking photos with it (camera body is new) and wondering if anyone here has used this combo for awhile and what your thoughts are?

Cheers,
Steve

Hi, Steve.
This sounds rather like hearsay. If you could post a link to such an analysis we may be able to assess it.
From looking at a couple of reviews of the lens online, nothing jumps out as being bad about it in any body
combo. The worst thing I've read is that it doesn't come with a lens hood, but nothing untoward about
optics and operation.

And that leaves you to try it out. Take pictures and post them here with the Exif camera data intact, and
point out any relevant matter you want us to look at.

I had the EF-S 10-22mm f3.5 for a number of years, using it on a 500D and later the 7D. No issue that I remember.
