So was cleaning up some leaves down the side of the house and came across this cute little frog. I'm thinking Southern Brown tree frog?

Ran into the house and grabbed this cheap and cheerful clip on macro lens for my iPhone. Cool seing them up close.

Frogs are ectothermic ( cold-blooded) so in this cold weather they are much more cooperative as models if you can find them. You were lucky catching this little guy out and about as they usually disappear during the colder months.

I hear them all night at the moment! This guy was hiding under dead leaves. And yes, was quite friendly. He's now living in the garden.

Frogs are fascinating animals and are very obliging subjects. I like the one facing directly at the lens, even if it is a bit blurry. I can see the desire for a new lens coming up soon :D

Strangely enough I have frogs croaking away here at present, even though it would pretty close to a frost outside. I've notice them towards evening for the last couple of weeks, and don't really recollect frogs calling on frosty nights before.

These have a charm all of their own, they always look like that when I don't wear my glasses :D Just today found the first egg mass in our frog pond, spring is on it's way.

Pretty good images even if you were using a clip on lens. Which just goes to show that you don't need great gear to take great photos, just a great photographer!
