What are the "must do" places in CQ/Rockhampton to shoot?

Doesn't matter what type of photography. Could be anything from landscapes to street shooting.

Would love to hear what others think about this region.

I'm 3 hours west of Rocky. Out here the sunrises are just amazing.

Hi Scott, must have missed this post originally. For landscapes, Lake Mary area, the beaches if you like seascapes, the old woolwash area just out of town on the old highway, the lagoon at the Botanic Gardens is good for sunsets. You can get some nice shots of the colourfully lit old buildings along Quay Street from the boat ramp near the old bridge on the opposite side. There is also a very active camera club in Rocky if you are interested. They do lots of community shoots in different genres.
