having internet speed issues,
ADSL2 with internode current download speed is between 0.5 Mbps and 2.7 Mbps

anyone know what I should be at roughly?

5-15 Mbps ...

Normal ADSL2 in practice runs around 7-12 Mbps IME.

Check your phone jack, and try replacing the ADSL/phone filter if you have a spare one lying about.

What were you used to getting? Are you in a metropolitan are, or "a bit out in the sticks"?
I don't know for your area, but I would be expecting about 15Mbps down to be serious
(otherwise it'd be a joke).

Here's a link to Ookla bandwidth meter (http://www.speedtest.net/). It should give
fairly close results to whatever you may be using (from Internode). If it is noticeably slow,
you'd better report it to Internode. No use paying for (nearly) nothing.

Its been slow for a while, Metropolitan area.
had issues the other week when i was on 0.5 Mbps and spoke to them over the phone and they got it up to about 3.5 Mbps without too much messing around and that was an average speed.
looks like I'll have to give them another call
