Yahoo have announced that they have been hacked and that 500 million email addresses / flickr accounts are compromised.

If you have a yahoo or flickr account, it is recommended you change your password immediately.

From the news item I heard on the radio today it appears that it has remained unreported for quite some time.
An "immediate" change of password may already be too late. :o

Thankfully I don't have an account with either.

Wonder what's going to happen when facebook suffers a major leakage of personal information :eek: ---- or has it already happened but due to privacy laws nobody has been told yet. ;)

They said on the "nioose" it was a state-sponsored hack, but that ?Yahoo didn't want to name them.
:confused013:rolleyes::wd::Doh::umm::oops::scrtch::shh::crike:

(I think that'll do:nod:)

Hmm! Lark!!-y I ignored that advice a couple of days ago. Did not re-set pwd. Used a different browser.
Got into mail no (?apparent) trouble.

This was covered before earlier in the year
So If this hack was 2 years ago changing password earlier this year will suffice
cheers
