Mongo’s enquiries reveal that this year it will NOT be at the Museum in College St. but at the National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour instead.

The exhibition commences 23 June

Ticket fee to attend just this exhibition alone (and not the other attractions at the museum) will be:-

$20 per adult

$12 for concession holders

Free for children under 15 years and members

If you want to see everything at the museum, there are special price tickets and also family block tickets etc.
(see http://www.anmm.gov.au/visit/admission (http://www.anmm.gov.au/visit/admission))

Very disappointingly, there is no disabled parking nearby. Parking seems to be at the Harbour-side car park about half a kilometre away. There are buses and light rail but none seem to pick up or drop off at the parking station. If this is correct, all in all, a very big oversight/blunder for the designers of this place and the organisers of this year’s event.

If you are familiar with this venue and know of better prospects for parking nearby or transport, please let us know.

Mongo had not intended to suggest it, but maybe a social meet would seem sensible if a lot of us locally may be going and convenient from reducing a multi parking situation. What are your thoughts re this possibility ?

Well I'll be in Sydney next weekend and not really sure why I'd pay money given the extra hassle of getting there??
The potential lure of meeting mongo has some appeal.
Sunday morning probably works for me ATM.

Mark Mongo agrees with you re the hassle. For this reason ( and because Mongo is home during the week) he hopes to get in there on a week day when things are quieter. Would have nice to meet you/
