Driving along and spotted this example of a parasite plant or weed totally covering the host tree stopping it from getting sunlight and by the looks of things strangling it with its vines. About 2 and a half meters high. Thought l would share. Also an ants nest, possibly white ants with this unusual coral type structure on top. The white dots appear to be eggs? Built in the middle of a dirt track, so l don't like its chances? of surviving? Cheers.

With #2 if I take a third of the bottom the plant starts to look like an animal.:confused013 Long day and now a few reds.

Crikey Mark, it must have been a hard day!

Certainly a strange ant nest, any ideas why or how it got that way? Washed away, or how about stolen by Swallows for their new nests as a most improbable answer.
