Hi

Done a bit of google searching, but most relate to remote firing of flashes.

What I want to do is set up one camera (Canon 7D) on a tripod, then using a second camera (7Dmii) as the trigger for the first (7D).

So they take images at the same time rather than using a separate remote.

Cheers

Easy ------

Yong Nuo remotes.
Mount a transceiver on the "target" camera with shutter actuation cord in place.
Mount another transceiver on the "trigger" camera hotshoe.
Make sure that your flash settings aren't set to rear curtain or anything wacky like that.
Hit the shutter on the "trigger" camera and the transceivers should talk to each other and activate the shutter on the "target" camera within a couple of billionths of a second of each other and hey presto, two images taken together.

Have a look through the pages of site sponsor Protogs pages to find the right combination of transceivers and shutter cords to suit your gear.

Ahh, was missing the bit about the cord between the receiver and the camera. Makes sense now.
