Please can someone ID this bird for me?

Living opposite a wet lands area and natural lake, a variety of birds often visit my garden/yard.
I have been cataloguing the various birdlife in my garden/yard as in photographing them, for 2 years now, and these birds are new visitors.
A pair of birds (I think from the kingfisher/kookaburra family) were chirping to each in the jaccaranda tree, and I haven't see this type of bird around here before, so would like to know if anyone can advise me what the bird is and some info about it please. Only 1 of the birds positioned himself/herself so I could take a photo. :)

Broadly, a Butcherbird. - You get that from the hook at the end of the bill. But what variety???
Still, look up BBs for WA and it might say.

Oh, and... AFAIK, no relation to Kookas or Kingfishers.

It is a Western form Grey Butcherbird :) Lovely photos BTW

Pied or Grey Butcherbird. If you are south of Perth, it is most likely a Grey

Well if you look at the color of the beak these are actually two different birds. :th3: #2 would be a young one.
They have such a wonderful voice.:)
