Here in Adelaide we have loads of planes flying above heading west - east and all directions but usually in a straight line...sometimes one will land:)
I was watching this one this morning coming from the west ( bottom of screen ) and then it chucked a sharp turn....any ideas ?

I don't think I have ever seen a trail doing this. Maybe it was a pilot going for his license test :D

Clearly it's a UF:eek: What? It's n:(t?

Military manoeuvres/A sudden ATC change of direction/Swerved to avoid a flock of pigeons/Something else...

No idea, really, but 1nce on a flight to Eu, we flew from Syd across Wilpena Pound and some way into SA before banking right sharp(ish)ly
to go to Singapore. So my conclusion is ???:confused013

Nope.......he had to do a sharp turn to check if his baggage trailer was still there........you know with hard take offs, sharp climbs etc....better to be safe than sorry :p

or a T intersection into a 1 way street

This is probably closest to the truth. Pilot probably had one track to point x at which point he had to make a left turn to get into the pre-defined traffic route (which in the sky, the pre-defined traffic routes are ALL one-way... (perhaps his flight path had to take that route because he had to bypass a military no-fly zone before he could head towards his goal?)
