What i would like to know is how do i resize a panorama for flickr and then link it to a thread here so that it is not such a big file. I am new to this type of image so really have no idea.

OK, you re-size any file for Flickr the same way as you would for a direct attachment for here.
I don't use Flickr, so I do not know what re-sizing options it gives you. If there are none, then
you need a program for re-sizing: Photoshop, Elements, lots of others.

Let us know what you've got.

Also, just found this reference. (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/general-chit-chat/234611-flickr-has-new-format-how-resize-photo-s-new-way.html)
It's dated 2014, so it may be useful.

As Am says, you resize the same as you would resize any other photo in whatever editing software you use. You just have to either crop the photo to pano aspect ratio 2:1 or stitch several photos together to create the pano. Then it is just a matter of making sure its pixel size is what you want, and save. Then upload to flickr.

Ok i think i have got it right. I have resized my images to 3000 x 670 pixels and made the file size under 250kb. They did upload to Flickr a lot faster than before so hopefully if i do the same in this post they should be ok. Thanks for your help regarding this.

They did! G:th3::th3:d.

Now this is a General Help thread, so for CC, post them - it doesn't take up much space as they're only links - in the Panorama forum.
