After not being involved in photography for more than some 30 years, I have just purchased a new Nikon D7100 with a Sigma 18 - 250mm (macro) and a Tokina 100mm Macro lens, ring flash and other ancillary equipment.
Now being a retired pensioner will - in due time - provide ample opportunity to dedicate to wildlife & flora (macro) photography which in my current location is still in abundance with a high level of diversity.
That is after some other projects are finished like establishing a veggie garden and doing some things/projects that could not be fitted in previously.
The sites looks very informative and should provide ample opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to develop the skills required.
My working trade commits me to be a recorder rather than an artist!
