Our little girl has had quite a few challenges this year but she's finally starting to get to where she technically should be physically. Here's a shot I snapped quickly last week of her standing up by herself on the couch - a very welcome sight!

I am not aware of the background here but it's great to hear that she is developing. We all love our kids and would do anything for them. I pray that her development will continue to surprise and delight.

Thanks for the well wishes Mark and it's a shocker from a technical perspective (I still can't find the focus point for example )

Thanks Greg prayers gratefully received and appreciated! The litany of issues is long but really all stems from her being very premature. She was a surprise second baby after many, many years of fertility treatment for our little man to be born so we do indeed feel blessed!

Thank you Christie! She's a pretty tough cookie - the paediatrician has given us his early sympathy for when she's a teenager

Great to see she is doing well. I think you have every reason to be proud of her achievements, particularly given she has probably had to work harder than most to achieve some things others simply take for granted. It always amazes me how robust little ones are, no matter how tough things are for them. They always seem to look on the positive side where us adults often find it challenging getting beyond the initial stage of "why me"
