G' day all:) Just want to say thank you to all those who wished us well , to those of us who were in the path of the cyclone. THANKYOU:):)
Amazingly the eye of this monster broke a little causing it to loose some of its power, from cat 5 to a 3_4.
Sadly some roofs did come off, but it wasn't as bad as predicted.
So a lot of vegetation clearing for me and nothing else.
It's something else to hear that wind roar like a locomotive:eek:,,,,,, glad its all over.
Now a waitng game as to when the power comes back on line?
Cheers everyone.

And Thank You for letting us know how you are going. So very pleased to read that you are Ok and only minor damage..
Rest easy while you wait for the electricity to get connected again.

Lots of cleaning up, from what we are seeing on FB and in the media. Glad you and your home etc came through relatively unscathed.

Hey feathers :)
Really glad to hear you are OK, it was an anxious wait Friday ...... but luckily had power and was able to keep up with what was happening.
Every BOM update brought a small sigh of relief. Its a terrifying thing to go through not knowing what is coming your way. The mammoth & daunting job of cleaning up can be overwhelming ..... But its when the community spirit rises up and puts your faith back in the world :D
We were very lucky down here, lots of major flooding with little damage
Thinking of you & your family and friends
Cheers Cargo
