"Hai... Euhrm... what?", I hear you think.

A Haiga seems to be a combination of Japanese poetry in the form of an Haiku, Senryu or Tanka and an image. Originally the images consisted of drawings on rice paper, but I guess these days a more modern form would be acceptable too.

Now, I have been writing Haiku's and Senryu's on and off for some time now and I've been thinking about combining them with photography. I guess it's not a novel idea, but it is to me. With some sad events happening in my life recently I found it quite therapeutic to write the poetry and take images (though the latter is a struggle). So, has anyone here done that before? Care to share - what worked and what didn't?

Sounds like a great idea, I can't give much advice though..
