Hi all,
I'm new to photography having only brought my camera about a few months ago. Ive been taking pictures of my kids and other stuff.
only recently went out and tried night photography and really enjoy it.
Is there anyone out there that can tell me what else I could photograph?
I'm a keen learner and hopefully take it up as a trade.

thanks

Lucky for you, you live quite close to a couple of capable AP members, on whom you could rely upon to give you some good personal advice.

The basic plan would be to :

read up on the general concepts of photography(try to stick to the technical stuff first)
go out and practice a bit.
post some of your results for a dose of CC
go back and get more photos coming back with more posted images, for more CC.
Hopefully at this stage you will have 'improved' your knowledge even a wee lil bit, and from there the knowledge and capability will develop exponentially.

Alternative you could do a paid for course, but to be honest I think it'd be a waste of money.
The technical knowledge is easily learned via the available info on the net ..... and the creative side comes from within. Both require a desire to learn and practice.

Hi there neighbour, have a read through the "how do I" pages in the library ---- http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:How_Do_I ---- and you can choose your method of posting. Linking photos from another hosting site is easy and allows for larger images to be posted. Attaching them directly into a thread on this site means that you will have to restrict the size of the image to 1024 pixels on the longest side and with a maximum file size of 250kb.

It's not to late to get involved in this years weekly Members Challenge ..... http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?188-Member-Challenges-52-2014
The first thread gives you the list of weekly themes.
Will help you learn, see what others do and it's a bit of fun.:th3:
