I like taking the mickey out of things I do :)
Here's something I came up with to keep things real !

"I would do anything .....

I waded neck deep in icy streams
Sweated a gallon in desert storms
Fended off bears with barely a wound
While shooting one handed ,one inch from the ground
For that stunning, unshot point of view
I would risk tearing a sinew or two

I found piece of nature’s heaven
Photographed and filmed this secret location
Kept this bolted in my securest of closets
While others ask and fail in order to covet
For me to reveal these amazing shot-opps
I would run overpriced exclusive workshops

I googled and youtubed for tips from the best
I yahood and trolled for the best of the rest
Became a pirate, my ship riding torrents
To a luminous land masking the currents
For a taste of my skills in adobe CC
I would sell my soul in the form of CDs

I facebook, twitter and stumble upon
I like megashot, the universe and even earthporn
I cry with joy when they share my pics
Suck up to the pros with online licks
For a few extra likes and shares and maybe some faves
I would befriend every Mike, Bill or Dave

My pic is front paged, my affection has soared
I conquered the mysteries of flickr ‘explore’
I spend my time cutting and pasting
Instead of shooting, I'm time-wasting
I liked your pages , you’s are da bomb

All that and more if you want to "make it" in the pro world. Then somebody comes along right place right time with the photo of the year. There is nothing wrong with taking the mickey out of yourself; if you don't we will hahahaha cheers Brian

I was giggling away as I read this at work and actually laughed out loud when I got to the Flickr explore part- now my boss thinks I find work very funny....

Not much for poetry.... yes an area Im planning on improving, but... I looked at your website. Wow, you are really good. The lighthouse (pyramid thing) shot is ridiculous. I am not one for false flattery either, Im blown away.
