I've been interested in photography for years, I started out with a 400D a long time ago but never really learned anything. As that camera became older and less reliable it spent more and more time on the shelf. I recently upgraded to a 700D w/18-55mm & 40mm f/2.8 pancake.

I guess I like to take landscape/scenic/travel photos and recently have been trying to become adequate at portraits.

I lived in Japan for a couple of years so that was a perfect place for beautiful scenic and colourful (and sometimes weird) photos.

My skill level is of someone who has had an SLR for years but that reads something one day and forgets it the next, lol.

My goal is the be able to confidently work with manual settings in the near future.

:D
