Sydneysider here.

I'm kinda a car that guy goes to car meet ups and such. I see alot of people posting shots of cars on the web so I decided to get into it. Because I wanted to take photo using my own camera and be able to show what I can deliver. Tossing between Canon and Nikon, end up buying Nikon just because every setup is easy to access from changing Shutter to ISO its pretty much out there. End up getting my very first DSLR D90 with a kit lens (18-55mm & 55-200mm).. Every car meet i'd the camera and take photo of other peoples cars and post it up on forums. But my photos isn't the same as what I pictured it. Didn't stop there took awhile for me to get the what i want. Then bought my very first prime lens 85mm 1.8 I end up using the prime more than the others. Reading through the net helps alot and asking other people.
Cut story short I stopped playing around with the camera, got lazy taking photos. (joined 2011)
Just recently bought my first FX D610 now im getting back into it again. Hope to be more active and not be lazy.
Photography is a hobby.

:gday: & Welcome Back
- lets see some photos in the main CC forums (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?5) maybe try a competition or 2 and have fun!

Staying active is easy and fun, just post an image for CC once a fortnight and
post 2 or 3 CC comments to other images in the same fortnight.

Yep, you have been a member for a few years, (albeit not very active) you have said in your post above that you took a while to get what you wanted in the way of photos, and you have upgraded to FX, so we do not deem you to be a beginner, and you now have a Photography page on FB, thus you are starting to promote yourself to others as a photographer. (So as per our PM congratulating you on being upgraded to intermediate level, you cannot use the Beginners CC forum to post photos, use all the other CC forums).
