Hi there new friends,

I am a new member from the city of Melbourne. I'm an international masters student of Linguistics, and I have a weak spot for photography. I fell in love with it when I used a friend's D90+18-200mmVR back in 2009.

My first purchase was a Canon 500D, but found it limiting my potential of capturing better photos, then I sold it to get a Nikon D5100 when it came out. I used the D5100 for a few months untill I found out about the magnificent D300. I, then, sold the D5100 and got the D300 with a 50mm 1.8 and started to get comfortable with photography.

I used the D300 for 3 monthes and then had to take a break form photography to focus on finishing my uni degree.

Now, 2 years since the D300, I just got a Nikon D800 and a Tamron 24-70mm 2.8 VC and a BlackRapid RS-7 strap :)


I like Landscape,Sports and Long Exposure photography.
