Hi all,
Feel like I'm late to the party here, only just found out about this site.
I started dabbling with Photography (as opposed to snap shots) back in early high school in the mid-ish 80's. Did the make your own pin-hole camera and do your own darkroom work thing - really enjoyed it. I then moved on to a Minolta SLR and then a hand-me-down Konica SLR (back before Konica and Minolta merged to become a single company). After a number of years either without a camera or with just a digital P&S I eventually took the plunge and bought a Canon 400D when they were the brand new kid on the block for the entry level DSLR. That served me well for a good many years until recently - decided it was time to upgrade. Looked at the 70D but actually became infatuated with the Fuji X-series and bought an X100S a little over a month ago.
