It's been a while, I've been doing fine art at uni, online (Curtin) and somewhat swamped. anyway, i did a 2 ps units as electives and discovered raw processing along the way, so good. I have to get out there and do some clicking. Does anyone have any firm opinions about adobe v gimp and rawtherapee? I've joined adobe CC which is cheap really, but free is even cheaper, maybe I can manage a new lens, my camera is a nikon D3100, pretty basic but it's opened up raw for me so I'm pretty happy, thanks in adv to anyone who can come back.

G'day Neil.
Reckon your on the right track with raw. I still do most of my PP with Canons DPP.
